GRP Ladders
GRP ladders from
Fibreglass
Grating Ltd are constructed from pultruded fibreglass sections,
which weight for weight,
are stronger than steel. Because of the inherent chemical resistance
of fibreglass, our GRP
ladders are ideally suited for duty in corrosive environments,
such as those found in the water, waste and chemical industries.
You can be sure that our equipment
will still be safe and sound when traditional ladders are decaying.
The food and electrical sectors can also benefit from using fibreglass
because it is hygienic, and is such an excellent insulator.
The fibreglass ladder stringers
are formed with an easy-to-grip channel, whilst the rungs have an
anti-slip serrated surface.
The rungs are both mechanically jointed, and epoxy-bonded to the
upright channels for total safety, AND WE RIGOROUSLY CONTROL THE
QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP.
Water By Laws Scheme - Approved
Product
Our fibreglass ladders have been
tested in accordance with BS6920, and are suitable for use in contact
with potable (drinking) water.
You may want only the odd length,
or you may require a complete access package, including fixing brackets
and anchors, a safety cage, and either a permanent walk-trough top,
or a retractable handhold, which provides a safe means of entering
such restricted areas as manholes, for example.
The
fibreglass ladders and associated equipment are manufactured in
dimensional accordance with both BS4211 (1987) and BS5395 part 3
(1985).
All the metal accessories and fastenings
used with our fibreglass ladder products are formed in stainless
steel.
